Unfortunately, it looks like no one posted any info for FederalFlyer. I just found this thread. For fine dining, I'd suggest my favorite in Bali: Mozaic just outside Ubud town. For casual seafood in Jimbaran, I'd suggest one of the beach barbecue places, though someone on the forum will need to help me with the name of the one that's the best. I don't know anything about Nusa Dua.

I recall someone on FT posting about another restaurant, near Ubud IIRC, that does similar cuisine to Mozaic but isn't quite as over-the-top. The search function yielded Lamak Bali, on Jl. Monkey Forest. But I'm not sure that's the one I'm thinking of. Does anyone have comments on Lamak Bali, or suggestions for other Indo-Western fusion spots. Or other nice(ish) options around Ubud. Will have a solid week in Ubud next month, so looking for some new spots to try in addition to my old standbys.
