Can anyone highlight options for paying for upgrades with cash - when travelling on an Avios booking 2-4-1. We have an overnight booked in Premium Economy and return leg in Club. There seems to be no availability to upgrade with Avios on the o/b leg but lots of a availability on the flight.

Any idea on likely cost and best time to do it? If Avios availability came up we have plenty to use but there seems to be nothing opening up.
