I have no idea what is going on with your service. As your phone does not appear to support 3G, you must still be on GSM 1800.

You should review the user's manual to figure out how to disable data.

FYI, it seems like the local regulatory agency is giving TrueMove and/or CAT another twelve months to transition the 17 million existing TrueMove GSM 1800 customers.
