It sounds like GUM is small enough that they know who's coming/going and who's going to be late, but I'm hoping to get some recent intelligence on transiting through GUM.
Exactly, and they're not going to just slam the door shut at T-15 minutes because:
1. Onward flights are long, a few minutes can easily be made up.
2. Rebooking is difficult. It's not like there's a next flight in a couple hours.
3. There's almost never ATC or weather delays, so there is cost for misconnecting a passenger, beside workload, which will belong to your fellow local colleagues.
4. It's quite a security challenge to escort someone out of the terminal.
