if you can post your price point that'd be very helpful
you also might want to try Priceline's "express deals" and see if any of them look good. You won't get the name but you'll have a good idea of location and amenities without bidding.
And FYI America's cup IS impacting hotel rates - while it's not the crowds some people had hoped, there's definitely a tourism uptick.
