I found this (& a few other) posts misleading. To begin, self-park is free on weekends. Yes (of course) you can park for free in the massive shopping mall directly behind the property.
More importantly, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus to Dunwoody MARTA station. Why even drive when you can go dwntwn for $2.50 in 30 minutes?
Other pluses and minuses from our weekend stay:
+ Plat upgrade to suite with 2 king beds. Nice!^
+ outdoor pool is fantastic;
- no bagels

nor bananas for breakfast in the 12th floor lounge;
- evening hors doeuvres were skimpy - one hot food (samosas) plus tiny bits of cheese (need 10 to cover a cracker);
- no complimentary wine or beer with evening snacks (unlike Meridien Piccadilly, for ex.);
- some of the renovations looked cheap (e.g. broken toilet in the 12th floor lounge, sliding doors to ice machines on each floor were loose & off hinges);
I spoke with one of the managers about the spartan options in the lounge. She acknowledged they are new, and are striving to improve. So I am hopeful this will get better!
