I have read good reviews on the Park Tower Knightsbridge but concerned about location. Any recent experiences and feedback would be appreciated. The last post here was in April 2013.
Thank you for your assistance.
Le Meridien had room renovations done a couple of years ago, but the rooms are not ultra modern by any means. They possibly look a little more tired than they are due to the decoration. They should be fine though.
The Park Tower is my regular work hotel. The rooms are all very standard, but consistent in quality. At the Le Meridien as it is an older hotel, there is less uniformity in the room sizes and layouts, but you do have a better chance of an upgrade to a suite.
Location wise, Le Meridien is in a great location. The Park Tower though is in a better location if you want to be nearer to Knightsbridge, the museums at South Kensington etc. It is only a 15 minute stroll between the two hotels, so it isn't a massive difference in reality.
Taking location and cost out of the equation, I would say that LM has better upgrade potential and the advantage of having a lounge. The Park Tower advantages are that it is a little bit more luxurious, very consistent and offers a full breakfast to Platinums.
