Ring Virgin, you go to a random overseas call centre, explain you are ANZ premium customer and have seat request and get transferred to premium team based in Oz and seating assigned. You need VA booking reference which ANZ can give you. I do this monthly and they are always very helpful. More reliable than asking ANZ to do, which has been very hit and miss for me. Works for Gold and GE - no idea about Koru.
