I would add that it's not particularly fair to look at just the overall inflation rate when airlines are so highly dependent on the price of one particular commodity -- fuel. Also, it's not unreasonable to consider that airline salaries have been particularly depressed over the past few years as a result of all the bankruptcies and that you will see pressure on that front now that airline financials have improved.
