Yeah, but it's not. The OP mentioned specifically itineraries which
do not require advanced routing in the EU, much less beyond NRT / ICN, etc. If one is looking to put together a business class award beyond those destinations served by Delta, then much of what is included in the other thread is quite relevant. Partners are referenced as they are often needed, where to search partner availability (equally as important) is also prevalent throughout the thread, as well as other items which aid in booking at the low tier as
pbarnette mentioned here.
I agree the thread has become quite lengthy over the years, but would caution anyone thinking the advice given for this particular OP's needs as a blanket approach covering all things low tier J. The sticky is far more comprehensive and has many individuals willing to help as questions are raised (
mtkeller, michael_v, 3cforme, etc.).
I updated the initial post in the other thread a few weeks ago, but would gladly add additional details (or perhaps cliff notes) should anyone want to forward via PM to make things easier for all.
