What about watching something like Kill Bill on the plane, while the 8 year old next to looks on? Or Childs Play?
I saw Kill Bill 1 & 2 back to back on a very boring Emirates flight from Jakarta - amazed it was on there with the levels of violence - and it had probably been edited. I've also seen a lesbian love scene on Qatar Airlines, much to surprise / disgust / pleasure.

I generally believe an airline takes responsibility for what they have on their IFE - i'll watch whatever, irrespective of who is watching or who i'm sitting next to.

But yeh - your own IFE - is their any official cabin crew advice? It must have happened that something too steamy comes on a passengers iPad once or twice!
