Don't like contradicting you, but we've never been charged a self park or valet park fee and front desk has never questioned me on this bene. However, we have not stayed at this property this calendar year so there may have been a change in policy. We do love this hotel and are due for a short trip soon.
Parking must be paid by all guests. I was checked in by the front desk supervisor and this is their policy.
That said, if one doesn't declare a car, there is no way of them checking if you have one. The parking is not gated and you do not put any type of parking card on your dashboard.
