I fully agree and if it had been me I would have made sure I had photos galore of the member of staff involved.

Other half was concerned that police officers coming along to deal with the matter wouldn't end well and would, as a minimum, result in severely delayed travel.

Hopefully the fact that several members of staff were involved there will be some collective recollection of the matter enough to get more than a canned response from BA. I don't hold out much hope, but BA have surprised me in the past and so may well do in this situation!
