Other half did have her phone, but was using it to speak to me, that's how I overheard the conversation. After she had left the lounge landing and calmed down I did suggest going back up to take a photograph of the member of staff. We collectively decided against this for fear of creating a further escalation that could ultimately result in other half being denied transport by BA.

When she went to Galleries North and was admitted without problem, I did suggest she should ask to speak to the Premium Services Manager by asking a member of staff inside Galleries North. Again, she didn't want to run the risk of either 1) being kicked out of the lounge or 2) being offloaded from the EDI flight.

As she was given her entitlement in Galleries North we figured that we could deal with the fallout after the travel had completed and at a time when we could have a discussion with BA without fear of any complaint impacting on other half's travel plans.
