I'd like to visit Buenos Aires or Patagonia this Dec-Jan.

I'm pretty new to the whole using miles for travel thing. I have the most miles in British Airways, and ~50K miles in Starwood and Sapphire Chase.

I tried calling AA.com for help with finding mileage fares on partner airlines. They said that there were only 60K one ways available for economy tickets.

What are some of your tools for looking up routes with availability?

I heard some talk of LAN flights not having much award availability for partner airlines, but I really don't know where to even begin looking for other options. :-/
