We stayed at the Viceroy for part of our Chinese New Year break this year - I was underwhelmed, and wouldn't return. At the time, there seemed to be some sort of demonstration taking place on the opposite side of the valley, which resulted in noise, unsightly banners/constructions, mirrors being used to reflect light into the property etc - none of which was mentioned at check in, or in advance of our arrival. Whilst I appreciate the property couldn't exactly control it, they could have been upfront about possible disturbance etc.

The villa we had was a decent size, but under-airconditioned for its size - a single AC unit was not enough.

Food was good, ambiance in the restaurant pleasant.
