Flying from MSP-PHX-MSP (same plane) and the FC Bathroom is broken. Bird is a MD-90. Delta knew about this before takeoff but decided to run the plane anyways. While I appreciate the flight actually getting there on time, I am wondering what the typical protocol for this. If they have another plane would they have swapped it out? I asked if I could be rerouted so I could have a working bathroom and have not heard back yet.
What type of compensation is typical for this? $100 voucher? Or should it be $200 because it was the same plane both ways?
