If I buy a DL codeshare on someone else's metal, where the money goes varies on a case by case basis. For example, on the TATL JV with AF/KL/AZ, we are led to believe that all the money is put into a pot and divided amongst the carriers according to a formula that they have determined.
With the JV I don't think that it is just code share flights whose money goes into the pot, but rather all covered flights. Or at least that is how the original NW/KLM JV was described to me back in the day.
