I am planning a trip for mid November LHR-TX and the cheapest deals are with US via PHL or CLT.

The only concern I have is that the connection for both is the last flight of the day and if there is any delay it would seriously mess up my holiday itinerary. Does anyone have any data on weather related closures/delay for these two airports during November? Would one be condidered safer to transfer through?
