Hmm, I thought that as well and asked in a separate thread, but in that one ab007 and ThatT1Feeling stated that I would keep my benefits (Lounges, Luggage and Avios) until the card expires.

So - open for further opinions. I can also ask BAEC Hotline next week - I need to call them about a different topic anyway. Otherwise I would find out in October at the latest (next booking). Currently that shows that I will be awarded with Silver Miles in MMB, but I am not certain whether MMB only considers current Status.
