Reason I ask is I had a small issue at a hotel and, without asking, they threw some points my was to cover the inconvenience. I was curious on what the hotel actually paid for these points or it it worked that way.
If you look at Green Choice, it's either $5 or 500 points. So, I'd think they pay a penny or less.
Any clues?
Fraction of a penny. I am not sure if it varies from hotel to hotel, but I believe it may vary between category (promise points, green choice, room charges). I would guess service promise points cost the most.
