I have to agree with you on this. I will hit 2MM next year and it's also irrelevant to me that I've hit this mark. 3MM would be relevant but I'll be long retired and won't hit this target.

As it is, I really see no reason for anyone to purse the MM mark due to enhanced 50K privileges. If you want priority boarding or lounge access, I suggest you get a credit card that provides you with these privileges.

There was talk at one time from Air Canada regarding improved recognition for MM members. Why would I believe anything positive will come about when this program has since been diluted?
