Is there anyone out there that knows if Southwest has an official or unofficial policy on having the little coat hooks on the seat tray latch. Obviously it is a decision when ordering the seats.

I just flew STL-DTW on a brand new 737-800 with the mood lighting and retractable overhead. Beautiful plane. I asked the FA as I was boarding if we had coats hooks on the new seats and he looked at me like I had 2 heads. Southwest just doesn't do that according to him. I was surprised by that.

Any thoughts?
