The location is pretty good for most of the shopping and attractions. The area directly around the hotel is a bit boring. But there is a lot to do / see inside a 15 min walk radius.
I still remember the IC in ZRH. Service was usually pretty bad, hardware was bad (small rooms etc). The hardware of the IC in FRA is absolutely not up to IC standards. Unless they tear down internal walls and make rooms bigger a renovation would not do it. But other than ZRH the service there is pretty good.
