Hi, I've doing some research about getting my VAT refund and it's getting quite confusing so I'd love any clarification:

I will be heading back to IAH from BCN by way of CDG. My flight leaves BCN at 650 so I think I can get my customs stamp but I can't get the refund money because the bank hasn't opened yet.
But then I also read that you need to get your stamp (or refund or both?) at the last EU place, which would be CDG? Can I take my stamped form to get a refund at CDG? Do I need my items with me?

How would others proceed? Thanks for any ideas.
