We also tend to stay at the JW Marriott or the Le Meridien Dubai (avoiding Yalumba!). Both very nice and chav free.
In my book, allowing your kids into a designated adult only area is outright chav behaviour - way more offensive than wearing a tracksuit or shopping in Iceland...
As I understand it, in its truest sense Chavs wouldn't be found in Dubai anyway, but as
Sam Bee notes there's a definite snobbish (mis)use of the word.
