I presume Chav's in this context of Dubai are nouveau riche who have progressed from Skegness to Terremolinos to Ibiza to Sharm to Dubai? Either that, or they or loutish Essex footballers or lottery winners?

Quite obviously they can't be tesco avios upgraders or inherited / trust fund J pax like so many on here, and a Chav mentality means they can't have developed through city focussed businesses as they would have been routed out before too long

Now I know perfectly well what a Chav is considered to be, and I know many Dubai hotels inside out along with the behaviour, the bars, the clubs seedy and straight. This year i've been sent to the Armani Hotel and a Movenpick in the middle of what I think was an oil terminal, and I genuinely have no idea how people think Dubai is full of of 'Chavs'? What I consider a 'Chav' can't afford Dubai even in August, and would stabd a good chance of being jailed within a couple of days.

Or by 'chav' do people mean 'typical English behaviour that i'm trying to pretend is above me' or simply 'i'm just an ignorant snob'?

Confused
