Trooper - On my trip to Amsterdam/Paris I used a single suitcase for myself and the mrs. It weighed a little less than 40KG, had wheels, and I manage perfectly. More importantly: KLM/Air France never charged me a cent for going over the limit, but calculated the overall weight allowed for both us. Weird.
