Connecting to BA304 to CDG at 725a.
The full story is this: I'm originating at LAX on 7 Sept and need to be in Paris, showered, shaved and dressed in time for a Noon reception on 8 September. I can fly LAX-DFW/ORD/JFK-CDG on AA or a combination of AA/EC and certainly get there in time. But I also wanted to explore options in which I might be able to upgrade from J to F. It looks like I can fly LAX-ORD-PHL-LHR-CDG, and currently the J-to-F upgrade is available. (There also is upgrade inventory available from EWR, but no way to fly LAX-EWR in time to connect.) Now I just need to decide whether it's worth it!
BTW, I've connected at T5 countless times, but never knew that clearing security on the B concourse was an option. I've always just followed the signs to flight connections and cleared security at the main terminal. Is clearing on the C concourse an option as well?

If my flight is late and IRIS not working, I found you can land on time but still not get out of the terminal till much later than you planned.
Irrelevant to me as I am not clearing immigration at LHR. (And besides, my IRIS registration has expired and of course the Border Agency no longer is renewing them.)
