what does the 24 hour rule encompass? my first flight leaves 3pm, my last flight leaves next day departs12:25noon and arrives final destination 4pm, while flight segment more than 24hours for the ticketed oneway award
If you are doing a one-way award from HKG to MNL with layover in BKK and SIN, each layover must be less then 24 hours. If the layover is more than 24 hours it is considered as a stopover and that is not allowed.
Right now your flight leaves HKG at 3pm, and you have a 16 hour layover in BKK. If you want to change that to a 1pm flight from HKG, that is only 2 extra hours in BKK, so you are less than the 24 hour limit. So you are fine.
Call MilagePlus and see. I am not sure if there is award availability on the 1pm TG flight, but if so you get to fly the A380.
