I guess this is what you'd expect them to say, but people in the know at DL are saying that, in the KE-DL relationship, Korean has basically asked for the moon the last few years, and DL only recently decided to "grow a pair." Now they aren't allowed to spill any more details than that, so I can't verify for myself whether or not that story is true, but it is highly possible that we don't know all the facts here.

Having said that, I do hope this spat is resolved soon. KE is a fantastic airline, and DL is a better airline for having them as a partner.
