This is true. There are only two categories of views: Mountain and Ocean. There is not a differentiation between ocean view and ocean front. Some mountain view rooms also can see the ocean if you face a certain way on the balcony. Higher floor is good for view but you are likely to wait a while for the elevator on check-in/check-out days.

This is probably because they didn't want to complicate the pricing of selling timeshares too much. There are already special prices for certain weeks, 2 vs 3 bedroom, and 2 view types. Adding another couple more would have been too complicated. Glad they were eventually able to satisfy you.
