I had this to say on the subject. And yes it was weird to receive that email. It's just plain weird to have a luggage company involved in this period!

You make me a deal on the luggage, the lower the price the more I myself donate to Milepoint Cares so I can reduce my taxes even further (in addition to the red I am running with my TBB LLC venture!). Call me..maybe. I must admit I had never heard of this company before! I have a Travel Pro carry on but the darn wheel keeps making a noise that drives me nuts!
