Thanks. If I recall, I think there was general positive responses with churning the Gold (or at least the 30k ones), and they had slightly different T&Cs.
Things may have changed all over, and maybe the 30k link was coded different than the 25k, but I'd postulate with all the other experimentation going on and the bad results, trying to acquire a 25k Gold might be worth a shot for someone.
