Hey all, I need some advice.

I'm staying at a small B&B in Rome. We have a room with a private bathroom, which cost €30 extra per night.

This morning we woke up to about an inch of water over much of our hotel room floor. Nothing ruined, but the manager has asked us not to use the private bathroom but instead the shared bathroom since she thinks the water came from something faulty in our bathroom. The bathroom floor wasn't wet though...

Is is reasonable to ask for the difference between the shared/private price back?

Also not a big deal but it took me and the manager a good 15 minutes wringing out towels into a bucket to clean up the water.
