i was on the Volendam, Japan transpac to Vancouver, in April. i usually cruise Princess but this deal was too good to pass up. anyway, despite the whole Norovirus cruise that it turned out to be LOL!, i thought the food was lacking. didn't do the buffet but a few times, mainly ate in the dining rooms due to the Noro virus thing. i was a bit shocked the food seemed so subpar.
