The simple answer is no, you won't receive double credit. I had this happen several years ago. I'm a physician and was at a professional association meeting in Miami. I was also serving as an expert witness in a malpractice lawsuit that went to trial while I was at the conference. The attorneys flew me to Baltimore to testify and back to Miami the following day. I maintained my reservation in Miami, even left my checked bag in the room but added 1 night at a Hilton property in Baltimore. Tried my dangdest to get points for both stays considering the circumstances and was flatly refused.
