Sorry to say that, but from what I've read in a Chinese forum, this deal seems dead. There are three reports of denial due to multiple application/existing accounts. One ID applied last night and was approved last night but his wife applied today but denied after calling, the reason given was multiple application. Both of them got a AA MC a week ago.

Were they trying to get two AA MC's, or got a MC a week ago, and were now trying for the Visa using the link that we are all familiar with?
Very disappointing if this is truly dead...needed another 100k for a trip I'm planning in the Spring. Going to have to get creative now...
