Update - the lounge in KEF is one of the best I've been in. We had to show our *G cards to get in but that was all.

To get to the lounge, you clear security then enter the main departure lounge which is more of a comfortable shopping mall than anything else. From here you walk to the gates and go down a longish hall past gate #6. You'll see the Saga Lounge entrance to your left. Go down the stairs and you're in the lounge.

This is the lounge entrance:

Go downstairs and you're here:

And as soon as you enter here's what you see:

There's plenty of seating available to the left (behind the wall which is actually a fireplace) and to the right as well:

The main food station is over here:

Lots of yummy food to choose from but little choice if you're vegetarian!

There was minestrone soup as well. Didn't get a shot of that. Sorry!

And of course, the sweet stuff too:

Would have loved to have spent more time in this lounge. There were 2 HP computers for internet use and I suppose there was wifi as well but I didn't bother to check. If you need to be stranded in a lounge, this is a pretty good one! Alas, our flight to CPH was on time so it came time to leave this lovely lounge and this lovely country as well.
