You'll need to check the aircraft types being operated for the sector you are interested in very carefully.

For NZ, sometimes a particular flight number can changed from 767/777/747 to A320 - and the A320 has no biz class - someone recently asked about compensation when this happened to them.

QF only operate a 737-800 Trans tasman, which has 12 biz seats in a domestic/regional configuration - think recliner seat, 38" seat pitch.

EK operate 777-300 and A380 - both types a superior product to QF

Note that on the QANTAS website the EK flights are sold with QF numbers under codeshare arrangements - I think in the '84XX' range - but check....

I'd rank the options as follows (best to worst)

EK 380
EK 77W, NZ 747/77W/772 (not much in it between these)
NZ 763
QF 73H
NZ 320 (Works Deluxe - but not a biz product)
