Nope. USA CC protection for bankruptcy has nothing to do with disputes over services. It's a bankruptcy protection and is the 100% reason why, if you have a USA-based CC, you should always charge all services to be rendered in the future and never, ever, never pay cash, wire, debit card, gift card or anything else.

OP notes that he used a Belgian card. He says that he's checked and he doesn't have that protection. So, he's stuck and will have to hope that the German bankruptcy proceeding produces enough to pay him back at least some of his money.

This is another reason why, if for any reason your CC doesn't provide this protection, "all perils" travel insurance is essential. In other words, if for any reason, the property can't provide the service you've paid for, the insurance covers it. Just read the insurance contract carefully.
