Secondly Fast Track cards for arriving into IST are not carried on board & are given out during disembarking, if they are handed to the crew member who opens the door by the ground staff. If they are not then they can`t be handed out.
As a paying passenger I hardly care whether there was poor internal communication - let's just say, it didn't look hugely professional in action. Having said that, it was stated on the menu, so I would have thought that the cabin crew might have read the menu so that they knew what they were serving and/or supposed to be serving.
Re your second point, with 3 arrivals a day you would think that the ground crew would have got the hang of this by now
