I stayed at HI Orchard last week. That is where I stay most often. There was a lot of construction going on along Orchard Road (next to Centre Point and across the road), but I do not recall having seen a construction site next door. In any case I we did not hear anything.

My last stay in HI Atrium was last year, I wasn't aware that there is construction going on there as well. But hey, this is Singapore. so it is probably easier to list the places where there is no construction site nearby.

I will most likely try out both HIXes in the course of next year.
