I have just completed a mattress run and only one Hilton had these (Wembley uk).....the next night at Brighton , same make, but in a plastic bottle??.....then the next night in Warwick same make, plastic bottle and "stubby" size????? , what's going on.....I know it sounds a little petty but Strathmore produce very fine mineral water, put it in a plastic bottle and it tastes like any other mid range water.....plus it looks cheap sitting on the coffee table as you enter the room.......maybe im being too fussy, but anyone else noticed this apparent cost cutting measure?
I like Wembley. Is their lounge still giving out free spirits? I am more concerned about a properties lounges cutting back than a cutback in water. I'd rather a property change from glass to plastic bottled water than cut the lounge offerings and keep the free bottle of wine at check in.
IIRC, Wembley gives out a free bottle of wine to diamonds. I would rather have that and plastic bottles of water, than glass bottles of water and no wine.
