I applied for the 50k personal Visa on 8/12, and had to call the reconsideration line (I think I'm nearing my internal credit limit with Citi). After a short hold, the rep told me I was approved with a 10k credit limit. I still haven't gotten the card. Instead, I got a letter saying that my application had been denied "because I had recently opened another account" with them (note that this is a paraphrase - I can't find the letter to quote it at the moment).
