I've lived here 13 years now and in my experience, travelling on average at least once a week, there really isnt rhyme nor reason to the fog.

I've been stuck as many times in the summer as I have in the winter. The only distinct factor is I normally get stuck in LGW rather than here waiting to leave but that's probably just my luck
