Whilst I agree that availability on domestic feeders to/from London is shockingly poor at the moment, the actual story to me is a bit of a non-event.

If this was KLM or Lufthansa, I doubt the Herald would publish it, so why BA.

Apart from anything else, BA doesn't really discriminate against Scotland, by offering free domestic connections (admittedly still for extra tax), and in earning flights, connections count towards the 50 flights rule making it artificially to get status.
