do's and don'ts

I have never had a problem either. Since the serving staff are not necessarily trained in FPC matters, I advise them when seated that I am using a cert and suggest they have their supervisor verify it through the front desk. Makes it a lot faster on departure!

A couple of other do's & don'ts:
- one of the 2 rests at the Kea Lani does not take the cert as they are independently owned and operated;
- @ the Chateau Laurier (Valentine's Day 2013) they declined to take the cert for afternoon tea. I was surprised by this, since they have allowed it in the past. But it sort of makes sense..........we weren't having dinner!
