While you and I can probably handle very well the trains and short walks - even with a couple of medium sized bags, some people with lots of bags or large bags -not unusual for American tourists- may have issues when boarding the trains (stairs involved on regional trains) or when leaving the station.
The only short connection is at 9:10 AM. In case of flight delays, the other train schedules look pretty crappy.
