Good suggestion.
No direct train connection to Amsterdam from the DUS airport train station though (one or two transfers are required). Someone with large/too many bags may find the train transfers a little bit of a hassle. I would do it.
No AB service DUS AMS that I know of.
KLM prices at ~$230 roundtrip if bought in advance.
